Town East Pool was reconstructed in 2002 and was last plastered in 2015.  Over the course of the past year, the pool began losing water and a leak detection company determined that a crack developed underneath approximately 120 feet of the gutter system, allowing water to escape the pool shell. Sunbelt Pools, Inc. has provided a scope of work for repairs that includes saw cutting under the gutter, removing the plaster, and repairing the cracks.

These repairs will disrupt the existing plaster surface on portions of the pool and only areas affected by the crack could be replastered.  However, the current surface of the entire pool shell is nearing the end of its useful life. With Sunbelt already mobilized, it creates an opportunity to address both needs at the same time, resulting in a cost savings.

Sunbelt Pools, Inc. has submitted a BuyBoard quote that encompasses the entirety of the project with a not to exceed amount of $350,000.00 for both the repairs and resurfacing.

Financial Implications
