The IT Department schedules the enterprise servers to be replaced every five years. The four enterprise servers support the City’s virtual server infrastructure of over 75 virtual servers. Server virtualization continues to save the city a large amount of money each year by allowing the IT Department to quickly create resources for new projects without needing to procure new expensive server infrastructure.
