The City has entered into an Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the City of Frisco, Texas, for the purchase of various items.  The City of Frisco has awarded Bid No. 1306-061 to Red the Uniform Tailor for law enforcement uniforms.  The Mesquite Police Department (MPD) and the Frisco Police Department (FPD) wear the same brand of police uniforms and each item that the MPD intends to purchase within the next year is available through the FPD contract. The City of Frisco’s contract is in its third renewal option, with one additional year remaining.

 

Financial Implications

Funding is available in the MPD budget.

Staff recommends award to Red the Uniform Tailor.
