This project will reconstruct Town East Boulevard between Military Parkway and Skyline Drive which includes replacing aging water, sanitary sewer, and drainage infrastructure throughout the corridor.
Bid notices were broadcast through BidSync electronic bidding system, published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper and posted on the City’s website. Five bids were received. The City’s design consultant has reviewed the references and other qualification information and recommends award of the Base Bid and Bid Alternative No. 1 to low bidder Texas Sterling Construction Company.
Financial Implications
Funds are available and allocated from a combination of certificates of obligation, water and sewer bond funds, and drainage utility district funds for the reconstruction of Town East Blvd.
