Highland Homes-Dallas, LLC, the owner of an undeveloped 6.28-acre single-family residential tract of land addressed to 2800 Jeremy Drive has offered to donate the property to the city without condition. The property parallels a green belt that lies north of Jeremy Drive.
The 2016 certified Dallas Central Appraisal District value of the property is $100.00 due to its adjacency to a floodway. If accepted, the total cost to the city would be approximately $900.00 in one-time closing costs and $1,800.00 annually for maintenance.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends Council accept the donation of the property and authorize the City Manager to execute the property transaction subject to clear title, payment of all taxes, and absent of any liens.
