The Mesquite AMBUCS club would like to present a donation to the Spread the Love campaign. The campaign raises peanut butter and jelly (PB&J) for kids during the summer who are food insecure.
Last year, the Spread the Love campaign generated enough donations of product and funds to make more than 20,000 PB&J sandwiches for latch key kids during the summer.
All donations to the campaign are routed to Sharing Life Community Outreach and Mesquite Social Services. Those local agencies get the peanut butter and jelly to the families in need through their food bank services.
