Bid notices were broadcast through the BidSync electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement for Bid was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. Four bid responses were received.
This bid is to procure dry cleaning and alteration services for the Mesquite Police Department and utilized on an as-needed basis throughout the year. The bid specifications are based on an award of multiple vendors thus allowing the police officers a choice of which vendor they utilize. It is anticipated that a total of $30,000.00 will be spent on dry cleaning and alteration services this year.
Financial Implications
Per further review of bids and feedback from the Legal Department, staff recommends the rejection of all bids as the bids exceed the budgeted amount.
