Receive briefing regarding the Rental Certificate of Occupancy Program.

The Rental Certificate of Occupancy Program began in 2005. Since that time thousands of single-family rental dwellings have been upgraded, improving neighborhoods and the lives of tenants.
During the Pre-Meeting, Staff will brief the Council on the scope of the program, improvements through the years, and possible enhancements that could make the program more effective. With direction from the Council, program amendments can be prepared for future adoption.
Recommended/Desired Action
As the City Council deems appropriate.
