The Police Department purchased a Ford Interceptor vehicle in 2016 for evaluation and testing. Officer reviews of the vehicle were very positive so the Police Department has requested to purchase additional Ford Interceptor vehicles for service in 2017. Five 2017 Ford Interceptor SUV’s were approved in the Fiscal Year 2016-17 capital outlay to replace five vehicles with high mileage and increased maintenance cost and two new additions.

2010 Dodge Charger (1) Police - Operations
2012 Dodge Charger (2) Police - Operations
Warehouse Inventory (1) Finance - Warehouse
New Addition:
2017 Ford Interceptor SUV’s (2) Police - Operations
The remaining funds will be used to put these vehicles in service.
