An ordinance amending Chapter 5 of the City Code regarding permitted materials for fences.
Body
On May 1 and May 15, 2017, Staff briefed the City Council on proposed changes to the City’s fence regulations.
The proposed ordinance amends only Section 15-144(a) by adding vinyl and composite to the list of permitted fence materials. Further changes to the City’s fence regulations that affect height, materials, appearance and visibility will be presented at a future council meeting.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the ordinance.
