Consider a resolution creating a Charter Review Committee to consider and advise the City Council regarding amendment of the City Charter.

At the July 3, 2017, City Council meeting, staff was directed by Council to place this item on the agenda for consideration.
Council shall discuss the specifics for establishing a Charter Review Committee which may include, but is not limited to: (1) the makeup of the committee, (2) setting the charge for the committee, (3) providing a deadline for a report from the committee, and (4) the number of public hearings and town hall meetings to be conducted.
