Bid documents were broadcast through the BidSync electronic bidding system, published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper and posted on the City’s website. Four bids were received including two no-bid responses. When the bids were opened and reviewed, it was determined that the vendors were not using the same criteria in Column D of the Bid Tabulation sheet provided in the bid solicitation for the pricing quoted. In order to provide proper consistency between quotes, staff recommends rejecting all bids. The procurement will be rebid at a later date using number of rental uniforms allocated versus changes per week on the Bid Tabulation sheet in Column D.
