The City Council adopted Ordinance No. 3257 establishing a Board of Directors for the Towne Centre Tax Increment Finance (TIF) Reinvestment Zone No. Two on September 21, 1998.
City Council appoints four members to the Towne Centre TIF Board to serve two-year terms and the Mesquite Independent School District (MISD) Board of Trustees appoints three members to serve two-year terms. The board members whose terms expire on December 31, 2018, are:

There is currently one vacancy on this board due to the recent retirement of Deputy City Manager Jerry Dittman.and Assistant City Manager Jeff Jones was promoted to this position and is recommended for appointment to this board.
