Title

Recognize Real. Texas. Service. Employee Champions.

Body

The Real. Texas. Service. Champions program is an opportunity for the City to recognize employees for their service to the organization and the Mesquite community.

The “Real. Texas. Service.” slogan is a sub-brand of the City of Mesquite’s “Real. Texas. Flavor.” brand. The service sub-brand embodies the hard-working, service-oriented qualities that are the ideal characteristics of every City employee. This program celebrates employees who maintain those basic core values of customer service, and who achieve unique accomplishments with effective and efficient service to the public, which merit special recognition. Department supervisors and directors are encouraged to nominate employees for consideration of this honor.

The City Manager’s Office selects four nominations each quarter as Real. Texas. Service. Champions. These employees receive special recognitions, including being a part of a presentation to the City Council to share their stories and the service they provide to the community.
