Bid documents were broadcast to vendors through the BidSync electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement of Bid Notice was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. A total of two bids were received.
This bid contains various sizes of rebar and is utilized by the Streets and Utilities Divisions for various street repairs. Staff was able to take advantage of savings from the previous bid award mainly due to favorable market conditions in the steel industry.
The term of this contract is for a one-year period with two additional one-year renewal options.
