Review Final Report of Charter Review Committee.

At the August 7, 2017, City Council Meeting, Councilmembers directed a Citizen Charter Review Committee be formed and directed to facilitate public awareness and discussion regarding changes to the City Charter. The committee held public hearings to gather input from citizens on proposed changes to the charter.
During the Pre-Meeting, Council will discuss the findings of the committee and discuss options for a future charter election.
Recommended/Desired Action
Due to deadlines regarding elections in May, the City Council will need to provide direction to City Staff at the December 18, 2017, City Council meeting regarding the need to hold an election. Staff will provide subsequent deadlines needed during the Pre-Meeting.
