Title
An ordinance affirming the City Council district boundaries established in Chapter 2, Section 2-42, of the City Code for the purpose of electing Councilmembers for District Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Body
Article IV, §4a of the City Charter requires a triennial review of the four City Council district boundaries to preserve and maintain the equal apportionment of citizens. There has been very little change since redistricting occurred in 2011, which used 2010 census information. The proposed ordinance re-affirms the boundaries first established in 2011 and affirmed in 2015.
