Receive briefing regarding amortization of nonconforming uses.

During the Pre-Meeting, staff will brief the Council on amortization of nonconforming uses including possible amendments to the Zoning Ordinance.
Amortization is a process by which nonconforming uses that have negative impacts an area can be discontinued after a specified date. Staff will discuss needed ordinance amendments and recommended procedures for implementing an amortization program.
Recommended/Desired Action
Provide staff direction as the Council deems appropriate.
