This contract is for the construction of approximately 1,662 linear feet of eight-foot-tall precast long-span decorative concrete screening wall, 150 square yards of concrete sidewalk and other associated improvements.
Bid notices were broadcast through the BidSync electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. The City received three responsive bids.
After factoring in design and project management costs, this project is underfunded by $112,524.19. Staff recommends that the City Council reject all bids to allow staff to evaluate options to lower project costs and rebid the project.
