Body

Brown Reynolds Watford Architects, Inc., (BRW) submitted a proposal for professional architectural services for the design of the new Mesquite Fire Station No. 4. The general scope includes: locating the building on a newly acquired site adjacent to the current Fire Station No. 4, developing a conceptual design for the new fire station, assisting the City with the selection of a Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR), working with the CMaR through the design development phase of the project, developing final construction documents, and representing the City during the construction process. The base fee of the contract is $480,000.00 with additional fees for professional services such as the geotechnical survey, landscape design, and third party commissioning and review. Also included in the not to exceed amount is an $18,000.00 reimbursable expense allowance.
