Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No. Z0218-0023, submitted by Coy Johnson of Game X Change, for a rezoning from General Retail to General Retail with a Conditional Use Permit to allow the sale of used merchandise, located at 1220 North Town East Boulevard, Suite 100.
(No responses in favor or opposition to the application have been received from property owners within the statutory notification area. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the application with certain stipulations.)

The applicant plans to open a business that would sell, trade and purchase new and used video games, game consoles, movies and hand held electronics.
On March 26, 2018, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to approve Application No. Z0218-0023, for a rezoning from General Retail to General Retail with a Conditional Use Permit to allow the sale of used merchandise.
Recommended/Desired Action
After the public hearing, staff recommends approval of the proposed ordinance.
