Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Subdivision Text Amendment No. 2018-01 amending the Mesquite Subdivision Ordinance, Article V, Part F(1), thereby amending the regulations for platting residential lots.

On March 26, 2018, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of Subdivision Text Amendment No. 2018-01.
The proposed Subdivision Ordinance amendment is to provide flexibility in the approval of residential plats, particularly replats. The intent is to protect existing neighborhoods from platting that may negatively affect the character of the neighborhood.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the ordinance.
