Approve Amendment No. 4 to the 2017-18 Police Seizure Budget in accordance with Title 28, Section 524 of the United States Code and Chapter 59 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure in the amount of $103,000.00.

Pursuant to Title 28, Section 524 of the United States Code and Chapter 59 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, the City of Mesquite has adopted a budget to account for funds awarded as a result of court forfeitures and contraband, and expenditures from these proceeds may only be used for law enforcement purposes in accordance with federal and state regulations. The fiscal year 2017-18 Confiscated Seizure Fund Budget is amended to include expenditures of the following items:
Training $50,000
Youth Summer Camp $20,000
DAX Evidence Recorder $8,000
Defensive Tactics Equipment $5,000
Milestone Licenses $20,000
Total Requested $103,000
