Body
The applicant proposes to locate a slot car business at the property in question. The use would be an indoor recreation facility where patrons can race slot cars on one of several tracks. The slot cars range from five to ten inches in length.
On May 29, 2018, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to approve Application No. Z0518-0032, for a rezoning from Commercial and Military Parkway-Scyene Corridor Overlay to Commercial and Military Parkway-Scyene Corridor Overlay with a Conditional Use Permit to allow an indoor recreation facility, specifically for a slot car business.
Recommended/Desired Action
After the public hearing, staff recommends approval of the proposed ordinance.
