A resolution amending Resolution No. 20-2018 approving a Development Agreement with CADG Kaufman 146, LLC and Kaufman County Fresh Water Supply District No. 5 (Heartland Town Center) by correcting typographical errors in Section 3(iii) of the resolution from “Section 16.1(b)” to “Section 17.1(b)” and from “Section 16.3(b)” to “Section 17.3(b)”.
Body
At the April 2, 2018, City Council meeting, the Council adopted Resolution No. 20-2018, approving the Heartland Town Center Development Agreement, which authorized the City Manager to execute all other documents necessary to consummate the transactions related to the Agreement.
The language in the Resolution that gives explicit authorization for the City Manager to consent to assignment of the Development Agreement referenced Article 16, instead of Article 17 as intended.
The proposed resolution would correct this error.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends adoption of the proposed resolution.
