Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute a Communications System Agreement with the City of Fort Worth to allow access to Fort Worth’s radio systems in connection with the provision of mutual aid assistance.
Body
The City of Mesquite can improve its public safety response capability by allowing interoperable communication between the GMRS Radio System and the City of Fort Worth Trunked Voice Radio System.
If executed, this agreement will allow City of Mesquite GMRS radio users to access the City of Fort Worth Trunked Voice Radio System for mutual aid, public safety support or other emergency assistance.
Recommended/Desired Action
Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute a Communications System Agreement with the City of Fort Worth.
