Title
Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No. Z0518-0034, submitted by Patrick Roffino, Roffino Construction, to amend Planned Development Ordinance No. 2042 to allow additional uses on property located at 5115 N. Galloway Avenue.
(Five responses in favor and one response in opposition to the application have been received from property owners within the statutory notification area. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the application with certain stipulations.)
Body
The applicant has an existing property with two multi-suite buildings that are approved and used for offices. The proposed amendment would allow additional uses in the Planned Development (PD) including beauty salons, computer repair stores, clothing stores, cell phone stores, eye glass stores and live-work units.
On July 23, 2018, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to approve Application No. Z0518-0034, to amend Planned Development Ordinance No. 2042 to allow additional uses in the PD.
Recommended/Desired Action
After the public hearing, staff recommends approval of the proposed ordinance.
