Presentation of update to the Open Government Mesquite transparency portal.

Staff will present a brief overview of new items available on the Open Government Mesquite transparency portal portion of the City’s website. The Open Government Mesquite transparency portal was first made available to the public beginning October 17, 2016. Information regarding the City’s budget and checkbook activity was made available at that time. Since October 2016, staff has been working on making additional financial information available to the public in line with the transparency initiatives of the Texas Comptrollers Transparency Stars program.
