The City has entered into an Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the City of Frisco, Texas, for the purchase of various items. The City of Frisco awarded Bid No.1804-060 to Galls, LLC, for law enforcement uniforms. The Mesquite Police Department (MPD) and the Frisco Police Department (FPD) wear the same brand of police uniforms and each item that the MPD intends to purchase within the next year is available through the FPD contract. The City of Frisco’s contract is for a term of one year, August 7, 2018 - August 6, 2019, with four one-year renewal options.
Financial Implications
Funding is available in the MPD budget.
