The Animal Services Advisory Board is a nine-member board established to review operations of the Mesquite Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, provide guidance to the Animal Services Division in complying with all provisions of the Health and Safety Code and perform such other duties as may be assigned by the City Council.
All members serve two-year terms and expire on September 8, 2018. There are currently two vacant positions - Mesquite Qualified Voter and Animal Welfare Organization Representative.
The following board members have indicated their willingness to serve another term, should they be reappointed.
