This bid includes items contained on the Mesquite Fire Department’s (MFD) Quartermaster System. The Quartermaster System provides each member with an annual allowance to purchase uniforms and clothing on an as-needed basis. Galls, LLC, provides a link to a customized, web-based site developed particularly to suit the needs of the MFD. The site allows individual department members to login and track their orders. Only MFD approved items are permitted on the site and each individual’s allowance is automatically updated based on their orders. The site will allow the Department Administrator to approve orders before they are processed. Free shipping is provided for all orders.

 

The quoted prices provided by Galls, LLC, are based on BuyBoard Contract No. 507-16. The recommended vendor has similar agreements with the cities of Garland and Rowlett using the BuyBoard contract.

 

Financial Implications

Funds have been allocated in the Fiscal Year 2018-19 budget.
