City Council approved the purchase of a new wheel loader for Solid Waste as part of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19 Budget. The wheel loader is used to load compost and mulch into trucks and trailers for resident and commercial customers. It is also used to push and stack incoming brush and yard waste into manageable piles for processing, loading large 75-cubic-yard commercial trailers with mulch, grading roads, moving dirt/rock dumped by residents and other City divisions.
