A total of 127 desktop computers, 26 standard laptops and 24 semi-rugged laptops were approved for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19 Budget. Bids were obtained through the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) cooperative contract for computers. The bid proposal for the computers was received from Dell, Inc. The pricing for each product is listed below:

Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends award to Dell, Inc., through DIR Contract No. DIR-TSO-3763. The $20,883.41 in savings will be applied to other approved vehicle docking stations and tablet purchases that will be acquired through different vendors and contracts.
