Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute the Master Interlocal Radio System Service Agreement with the City of Garland, Texas, to provide maintenance and repair services for the municipal radio systems and to authorize payment to the City of Garland, Texas, for Fiscal Year 2018-19 radio maintenance services in the amount of $66,180.00.

The Public Safety P25 Radio System is a joint ownership asset between the City of Mesquite and the City of Garland. The City of Garland has a well-trained, equipped and capable Radio Shop. The City of Mesquite does not possess this capability and it is necessary to contract for radio service.
This Interlocal Agreement outlines services provided and the method for establishing the cost for those services.
Financial Implications
The Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19 cost for these non-warranty related services is $66,180.00 and are budgeted in the Fire Department FY 2018-19 Budget.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the agreement.
