Consider appointment of one regular member to the Planning and Zoning Commission/Capital Improvements Advisory Committee for a term to expire September 30, 2020, and two alternate members for terms to expire November 19, 2020.

The Planning and Zoning Commission currently has vacancies for one regular member and two alternate members. Regular members of the Planning and Zoning Commission also serve on the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee.
The attendance requirement for this board states “The term of any member, including an alternate member, who has not attended more than 80 percent of the regularly scheduled meetings, without prior approval of the chairman in the event of inability to attend, in any six month period shall automatically expire.” Therefore, due to lack of attendance, Elizabeth Allen’s term has automatically expired.
Alternate member’s terms expire two years from date of appointment.
