Discuss a moratorium regarding multi-family residential development.

Staff has received a request to establish a moratorium on multi-family development while Council discusses proposed updates to the City’s standards on this type of development. Staff is scheduled to present updates to the Council beginning December 17, with the goal of approving updates by February 18, 2019.
Following a briefing on the process to establish the moratorium, staff will seek direction from the Council on justification for the moratorium to be included in the required notice for public hearing and resolution.
