Bid documents were broadcast to vendors through the BidSync electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement of Bid Notice was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. A total of four bids were received.
This bid contains various sizes of rebar and is utilized by the Streets and Utilities Divisions for various street repairs. Pricing has increased from the previous bid award mainly due to unfavorable market conditions in the steel industry.
