Receive annual ethics training.

In 2017, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) performed an evaluation of all grant recipients’ internal ethics and compliance programs as outlined in Title 43 of the Texas Administrative Code §10.51. As a result of that review, TxDOT requires the City to conduct annual ethics training, covering ethical rules in applicable regulations, including but not limited to federal and state, the Mesquite Charter, the Mesquite Code of Ordinances and these rules.
During the Council Pre-Meeting, staff will present to Council the required ethics information.
Recommended/Desired Action
No Council action is required.
