Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No. Z1218-0079, submitted by Marilyn Diaz, on behalf of DDHFC, Inc. for a change of zoning from Planned Development - General Retail to Planned Development - General Retail with a Conditional Use Permit to allow a daycare, located at 1615 Oates Drive.
(No responses in favor and one in opposition to the application has been received from property owners within the statutory notification area. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the application.)

The applicant proposes opening a daycare, specifically a Montessori School, on the property. The property has been the location of two daycares in the past. However, the conditional use permits for those daycares have expired.
On January 14, 2019, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to approve Application No. Z1218-0079, for a rezoning from Planned Development - General Retail to Planned Development - General Retail with a Conditional Use Permit to allow a daycare.
Recommended/Desired Action
After the public hearing, staff recommends approval.
