A resolution adopting a Revenue Management and Expenditure Control Policy for the City of Mesquite.

 

Body

The City Finance Department is proposing to formalize certain financial policies of the City in order to strengthen financial operations and obtain City Council approval of each policy.

 

This policy is intended to establish guidelines to manage and direct the City’s management of revenues and control over expenditures. Specifically, under this policy, the City shall comply with prevailing federal, state and local statues and regulations, as well as current professional principles and practices.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends approval of the resolution.
