Body
Staff is recommending City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a contract extension with Allied Waste Systems (dba Republic Services) for a three-year term with two one-year renewal options. The contract extension includes changes to the rates for the collection of commercial solid waste. Rates can only be approved by ordinance, and the attached ordinance codifies the rates reflected in the contract extension.

Staff recommends approval of the ordinance.
