This project will rehabilitate pavement using the following methods:

Localized Spot Repair: Full-depth replacement at select areas. The localized full-depth repair can be as small as a 3’x 3’ area or a much longer stretch of pavement.

o                     Powell Road from Bruton Road to Dead End

                     Mill and Asphalt Overlay:

o                     Cascade Street from Lee Street to Grubb Drive

o                     Summit Street from Galloway Avenue to Crest Park Drive

Seal Coat: Mix of asphalt emulsion and aggregate applied to the existing asphalt pavement surface. Treatment seals the surface to prevent water from penetrating and deteriorating the subgrade.

o                     Haddock Drive from Peachtree Road to Powell Road

o                     Hoops Lane from Rodeo Center Boulevard to Dead End

Asphalt Reclamation: Involves pulverizing the existing asphalt surface into small pieces and then mixing the pulverized asphalt, base material and a stabilizer (lime, cement or both) to create a new stabilized sub-base. After the base material is prepared, a new layer of asphalt is placed on top. Curb and gutter and sidewalk will be replaced as necessary.

o                     Oriole Street from Bruton Road to Potter Lane

o                     Ervin Lane from Potter Lane to Haddock Drive

o                     Daffodil Drive from Sandy Lane to Rose Lane

o                     Lilac Lane from Sandy Lane to Rose Lane

o                     Rose Lane from Lilac Lane to Daffodil Drive

o                     Carnation Drive from Lilac Lane to Daffodil Drive
