During the Pre-Meeting, City staff will update Council on the strategic plan for public transportation and discussions between the City and STAR Transit and DART. Topics for Council consideration include:
• Discontinuing COMPASS 282 due to declining ridership
• Dedicating COMPASS 282 funds and expanding Mobility On Demand
• Adding service hours to enhance demand response times
• Exploring alternative options for Mobility On Demand
• Identifying key locations for bus service in lieu of COMPASS 282
• Implementation process and timeline
