Approve Amendment No. 5 to the 2018-19 Police State Seizure Budget in accordance with Title 28, Section 524 of the United States Code and Chapter 59 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure in the amount of $192,000.00.

Pursuant to Title 28, Section 524 of the United States Code and Chapter 59 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, the City of Mesquite has adopted a budget to account for funds awarded as a result of court forfeitures and contraband, and expenditures from these proceeds may only be used for law enforcement purposes in accordance with federal and state regulations. The Fiscal Year 2018-19 Confiscated Seizure Fund Budget is amended to include expenditures of the following items:

CID Data Projection Center $11,000
CellHawk Software $5,500
CID Electronic Data Storage $25,000
Brief Cam $40,000
Redactive Software $20,000
Police Range Target System $50,000
Polygraph Examiner Training $25,000
Seizure Vehicle $3,500
