This contract will provide concrete pavement lifting and leveling by injecting polyurethane material under pavement. The work under this contract will be used to correct drainage problems and sunken slabs where the existing concrete has not failed. The Streets Division will use this method on both streets being rehabilitated under the Real. Texas. Roads. program and other roadways needing this type of work.
Bid notices were broadcast through the BidSync electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement for Bid was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. A total of three responsive bids were received. Construction should begin Summer of 2019. City staff has reviewed references of the low bidder and recommends award to PJM Construction LLC, dba Foamworks.
Financial Implications
Funding for this contract is budgeted under the Street Bond Program and Streets Division Operational Budget.
