This contract supports the City’s 50/50 program of replacing driveways, sidewalks and curb and gutters in residential areas where the citizen has committed to pay for 50 percent of the repair.
Bid notices were broadcast through the BidSync electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement for Bid was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. A total of four responsive bids were received. City staff has reviewed references of the low bidder and recommends award to Michael D. Boyd Sr., dba Overall Concrete Solutions.
Financial Implications
Funding for this contract is budgeted under the 50/50 program.
