Staff proposes to order these materials through Ingram for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-20 via the Texas Procurement and Support Services (TPASS) for library books. The company has provided excellent discounts (see table below), a high fill-rate and responsive delivery of material.

 

Bid No. 2019-040, Annual Print Materials, solicitation expires on September 1, 2019. The TPASS contract has been extended by TPASS to February 29, 2020. It is anticipated that TPASS will award a new contract that will be in effect on March 1, 2020. The total expenditure amount for this bid is $63,499.99 (six-month proration of total annual contract award). The remaining project/budget amount will be requested with the new contract. Print materials (books) for the Main Library and North Branch Library are ordered throughout the year.
