Conduct a public hearing to receive citizen input on the proposed Fiscal Year 2019-20 budget.

Although not required by law, the City Council has traditionally held multiple public hearings to allow citizens additional opportunities to comment on the proposed budget. This is the second public hearing to receive citizen input on the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20. The first public hearing was held on August 5, 2019, and no persons provided comments.
The proposed budget is posted on the City’s website in accordance with State law and citizens also have the opportunity to view the budget at either the City Secretary’s Office or Budget Office.
A final public hearing will be held on September 3, 2019, prior to the adoption of the budget in accordance with State law.
