Title

Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Application No. Z0519-0096 submitted by Pat Akins, Tack Team Investments, LLC, for a change of zoning from Agricultural to Planned Development - Single-family Residential to allow a single-family residential subdivision located at 6401 Shannon Road.

(No responses in favor or in opposition to the application have been received from property owners within the statutory notification area. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval with certain stipulations.)

 

Body

The applicant is proposing to construct a new residential subdivision that would span the cities of Mesquite, Dallas and Seagoville. Thirty six lots plus amenities will be in the Mesquite portion of the development.

 

On July 23, 2019, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to approve Application No. Z0519-0096 for a change of zoning from Agricultural to Planned Development - Single-family Residential to allow a single-family residential subdivision located at 6401 Shannon Road.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Following the public hearing, staff recommends approval of the ordinance.
