Receive briefing regarding a proposed Historic Preservation Ordinance and a proposed Downtown Overlay district.

During the Pre-Meeting, staff will brief the City Council regarding the creation of a Historic Preservation Ordinance, which would also include establishment of a Landmarks Commission. Staff will also brief the Council on a proposed overlay district for the designated Main Street district.
Recommended/Desired Action
Provide staff with direction regarding the proposed ordinances.
